Our client is searching for a Field Service Technician.
The successful candidate will do the following:
-Travel with the deployment team that is tasked with implementing new IT security model at multiple customer sites across the US.
-Supports deployment team and end users with installation of hardware/software and networking components to meet new security requirements.
-Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with individual or multiple computer systems in order to maintain proper functioning; resolves issues which may include contacting and working with hardware/software vendors.
-Conduct diagnostic reviews and produces error reports as requested by deployment team in order to identify and correct any problems.
-Diagnose failures, researches fixes and resolves moderate end-user hardware/software problems tied to the implementation of the new security model.
-Resolution of PC issues may include refreshing/replacing hardware &/or reimaging the operating system.
-Utilize ticket tracking software to capture, update and log info related to end users' need for IT support. Ticket data must remain accurate, complete and updated. Verify with the end user that the problem has been resolved before closing the ticket. Maintain log of lessons learned during implementation to reference during future deployments.
MS Windows XP, 7, 10 installation/configuration experience
Good working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and terminology. Good working knowledge of local area networks. Good problem solving skills. Must have good communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Working knowledge of Active Directory. Good working knowledge of Mobile Devices (Cell Phones) Willingness to travel
